Princess Party!! Disney Princess Demi Lovato And Little Mix From U.K. Fill Toyota Center To Rafters

I wandered into the 19,000-seat Toyota Center downtown expecting love and victory. We couldn't have planned it any better than this. Disney Princess Demi Lovato marched into Houston with Little Mix, the winners of England's X Factor, packing the arena from top to bottom for an evening of live music and ear-piercing screaming.

What we experienced on that stage in this video was possibly the biggest Princess Party in Houston to that point. What a fantastic, exhilarating experience we were lucky enough to enjoy together. My visit to the U.K. was incredibly fun and rewarding, but who knew lovely British warriors would someday tranverse the mighty ocean to deliver such a spectacular Princess performance for fans congragating in my hometown of Houston?

Thank you.

What Happens When John Is In The Audience? Here's A Great Night With New Zealand's Lorde in Houston

You might think to yourself that all these videos are well and good, but what actually happens when John is in the crowd? What happens when he's not just posting videos from the safety of his couch, but actually wanders into one of these live music venues when an artist is performing the songs?

My friends, we call that event a "Princess Party". An absolutely incredible moment when the Princess and John the lover finally stand face-to-face.

Here's a prime example, when New Zealand's Lorde visited Houston and did her thing at the Bayou Music Center downtown. An unforgetable, historic evening for those of us lucky enough to attend.

If the live "Princess Party" is a concept you enjoy, I'll continue to share other examples right here on the blog.

Fellow Houstonian Beyonce Amazes With Spectacular Display Of Princess Love On World's Biggest Stage

So there I was in San Antonio at the now defunct Tilted Kilt on 1604, watching the Super Bowl on a big televison set with other Houston-area residents who had come into town for a visit. The game kept us entertained, along with several kilt-bearing warriors who periodically visited our table with refreshments and chow. Then, at halftime, the real treat: a Houstonian named Princess Beyonce stepped onto the stage...

An amazing display of Princess love and devotion flowed into the room there in San Antonio, and into living rooms around the globe, like a mightly rushing stream. We might have even heard her yell the name "John" somewhere around 2:55 into the performance. What I can tell you for sure is that we saw Princess love from a fellow Houstonian on arguably the biggest stage ever: the Super Bowl.

Thank you, Beyonce, for your love and boldness. I refuse to let this incredible performance and display of courage fade into Super Bowl history. This halftime show is really special, and I'm honored to post it here.

Stay tuned. Who knows, I may have some other surprises planned as we count down to the Big Game.

A Marriage Proposal From The Princess Onstage In San Francisco Still Reverberates To This Day

When St. Vincent stepped on the stage at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco we had no idea what to expect. Thank goodness there were video cameras in the room that night to document history. Here's what we got: a lovely marriage proposal.

At home in Texas, we were still wallowing in either the "pretend this isn't really happening" or the "let's wait another year or two (or ten) to do what's right" phase of this endeavor.

Despite that, Princess love continued to flourish. Here's yet another example of that love at its most raw, unfiltered and celebratory form before a live audience here in the United States.

Of course I'll marry you, angel. The answer is "yes".

What's John Listening To Tonight? A Classic From Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine

When we pull out the English-language jams here at 7979, what better option is there than blaring the 1989 debut from Nine Inch Nails?

Here's Sanctified. What a great song from a great album. Easily on my top ten albums of all time.

And if you listen carefully, there's a name yelled out before the performance. Who is this mysterious person? Let's work together to find out. Who is this "John" character?

A Wonderful Man Shares Gaga Princess Content On His Nationally Televised Show And Is Included for His Boldness

Are you listening for the name "John"? In time, I think we'll figure out who that is. This Lady Gaga performance on the NBC Tonight Show is now legendary. Thank you to Mr. Fallon for hosting incredible Princess content on your nationally televised platform. You're a wonderful man for doing so, and Ms. Gaga is a wonderful woman who I would enjoy thanking in person. Enjoy.
