Remembering The Night I Got Back Together With Princess Taylor Swift On National Television

As the world is now inundated with news of Taylor Swift's latest release, The Life of a Showgirl, I thought we'd take some time to look back at those times when Princess Taylor was the star of this show.

I congratulate Taylor and Travis on their recent engagement. As I've stated here before, I'm always happy when my former Princess loves find the one they were destined to marry. I wish you both all the best.

Tonight's performance from the Country Music Awards in 2012 comes days after I tweeted that I was thinking about getting back together with Taylor again. Her lovely performance that followed, broadcast nationally here in the United States, both warmed my heart and kept me posting musical treasures knowing the love of my life was not only watching, but she was also encouraged by what I'm doing here.

To be more specific, from my hotel room in San Anontio several days prior to the CMA broadcast, I thought it would be kind and funny to post this on Twitter: "I'm thinking about getting back together with Taylor Swift."

For a least one night on television before the country, I think it's fair to say I did.
